Dr. Stewart has helped me and at first I got worse but when the immune system wakes up you can get worse. I think Dr. Stewart is confident not egotistical but even so i think he really cares. Dr. Rodney Russell that is being spoken about uses Neurobiologix supplements also and these are created by Dr. Stewart. I don't think any Dr. knows it all ever or always gets it right, i just know that Dr. Stewart helped me an dI believe he really cares about helping people feel better. He was a scull based surgeon among other things but left that behind to help people feel better.

@XY6426....sort of what I intuited regarding Dr. Stewart....does not look healthy himself....finally found local middle Tennessee Functional Med provider, after decades of looking - Maxwell Clinic. Did not bat an eyelash regarding self-treatment with B12 hydroxocobalamin injections, since they, unlike 99% of area providers, understand that it is water soluble and cannot be overdosed. Sheesh....even the CDC says so. Functional Provider, after decades of having my ever changing insurance soaked, thousands out of pocket with Integrative providers, without effective treatment, put us both on LCHF - most effective treatment modality ever prescribed. Why, oh why is the medical profession not aggressively dealing with hyperinsulinemia, before it begins to turn into hyperglycemia!? Smh....idiots!!!!

Dr. Kendall Stewart is not a functional medicine doctor and his ego is the size of a mac truck. He made me horribly sick. He prescribed all this methylations stuff, put me on heavy anti-viral meds and I got worse. I told him his Vitamin cream made me vibrate, he said that I had some virus making me vibrate...He added more stuff, including a huge dose of progesterone without labs (and couldn't refrain from telling me my endocrinologist was an idiot and he was the country's expert in hormones) and I got worse. He did it all with no testing, just hunches. Turned out I had Lyme and am getting treated and feeling better. Not everything is a just methylation issue!!! He recently changed to cash only. I would stay away from him. He is selling his cream and its not a one fit all situation - its the exact opposite!

Biofilm is like a mucous surrounding bacteria, then it blocks everything from absorbing, continues to make us sick. It's a horrible thing! There is a lot of info on the Web about it too, I avoid dairy, gluten, eat raw organic, follow a candida diet with fruit. Fruit is the scrubbers veggies are builders. I take biofilm defense by Kirkman labs and klaire labs has interphase, when I first start it I take both then cut back to just biofilm defense. I stay on a leaky gut/candida diet sort of diet, I go in between the two and kind of make it to my body so I can get the most out of mrange quickly. You know you're getting it when you feel.naseauas,.like a herxheimer reaction. It's been the one thing that has helped me get better.

@BB7800 - Can you write more about the BioFilms and how you corrected it?

Diet and biofilms! I had a huge amount of biofilms and nothing helped until I rid my body of the biofilms then I was able to attack the rest of digestive issues and absorb supplements better and lost about 100 lbs in a year. Nothing worked until I worked on biofilms though.

Dr. Alan Greenberg is not retired, he had his medical license revoked! My Mom was his patient for 18 years. She suffered from weekly seizures. After he had to shut down his practice, my Mom found another doctor who took her off most of her meds and she hasn't had a seizure in 25 years. He overmedicates and suffers from delusions, that's why he can no longer practice as a medical doctor. Look him up and you'll see all the court transcripts.

I am homozegous for this snp but I don't have problem with sleep just with crazy dreams and I have some neck pain but rarely since I hae been following the genotype diet.

E03610 Yes I've worked with DR. Rodney Russell in Texas (and also in Colorado now I think). He is amazing and helped me a ton. VERY knowledgeable and really caring. He's definitely not just a chiropractor (those come in many different forms anyway), he's a functional trained doc. (And really, for me I'd much rather go that route as chiropractors, much like natropaths and unlike MDs, have a more natural route, training and desire to treat the root cause rather than treat symptoms.) He did way more than snps analysis with me ordered other diagnostic testing (I'm a difficult case with not only MTHFR, but SOD, NAT2 and more snps that affect methylation and treatment).
